1. Introduction

MagicPhoto ("we", "our", "us") is an iOS application that uses AI to enhance and generate photos. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using MagicPhoto, you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Apple Account identifier. When you Sign in with Apple, we receive an opaque user identifier and (if you allow) your name and a private relay email. We do not receive your Apple ID password.
Photos you upload. Images are uploaded only when you choose to process them. They are used solely to generate your enhanced result.
Credit & purchase data. We record credit balance changes and Apple In-App Purchase receipts (validated with Apple) to credit your account.
Usage & diagnostic data. Anonymized logs (task status, error messages, device model, OS version) used to operate and improve the service.

3. How We Use Your Information

Authenticate you and maintain your session.
Process the photos you submit and return the enhanced result.
Deduct, top up and protect your credit balance (no credits are charged on failed processing).
Detect abuse, debug issues, and improve the product.
Comply with legal obligations.

4. Photo Storage & Retention

Your uploaded and enhanced images are stored encrypted on Amazon S3 so you can re-download them from the History screen.

Automatic deletion after 30 days. Every photo (both the original you uploaded and the AI-enhanced result) is automatically and permanently deleted from our S3 storage 30 days after it is created. Please download and save any photo you want to keep before that deadline — once deleted, the file cannot be recovered.
Manual deletion at any time. You can delete any item from the History screen yourself; the file is removed from S3 within 24 hours.
Account deletion. Deleting your account permanently removes all your remaining photos and personal data from S3 and our database within 30 days.

Tip: use the Download button on each result, or enable iOS Photos auto-save in Settings, to keep a permanent copy on your device.

5. AI Processing

Images are processed by our own servers and trusted AI processing providers under contract. We do not use your photos to train AI models, and we do not sell your photos to anyone.

6. Payments

All purchases are processed by Apple via In-App Purchase. We never see or store your payment card details. We receive only the receipt needed to grant credits.

7. Sharing

We share data only with: (a) infrastructure providers that host our service, (b) AI providers that process the specific image you submit, and (c) authorities when required by law. We do not sell personal data.

8. Your Rights

You can access, export, or delete your data, and delete your account at any time from the in-app Settings. You may also email us at the address below.

9. Children

MagicPhoto is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We will notify you of material changes in-app or by updating the "Last updated" date above.
